GritLit does the Fringe…

Redroaster (St James St), May 13th. 7.45pm – 10pm.  A very consumer friendly £5 entry!

Tickets available from the Brighton Festival office and on the door (Please arrive early to avoid disappointment)

Expect to slide on the bloody floor of an 18th century hospital, journey to a hippy commune infested with rats, raise a tin to a Brighton supermarket showdown and experience the remoteness of life spent living off grid in Wales’ green desert…

Seven rising stars on the literary scene conspire to bring you their edgiest tales. Dave Swann, Ross Sutherland, Tim Lay, Amy Riley, Caroline Rance, Neil Ansell and Jake Kennedy line up to serve up some Lit with true Grit.

Two of the writers celebrate the release of fresh short story collections; Tim Lay with NIBS (Discovered Authors) and Dave Swann The Privilege of Rain (Waterloo Press). Caroline Rance reads from Kill- Grief published by Brighton publishers Picnic. Special guest is Ross Sutherland, the poet comic who has been making waves since being heralded as one of 2008’s Top Ten Literary Stars by The Times.

See y’all there!
