We’re please to announce a very special evening that we’re organising with Story Studio, which is an experimental night bring together literary world and digital worlds together under one roof, as part of the Brighton Digital Festival, which runs throughout September.

A save the date is our second Grit Lit for this year. It will be held on Friday 9 December at Redroaster Coffee House, St James’ Street, Brighton 7.45pm-10pm, plus drinks after. A line up and further information to follow shortly.

Flash-Lit Fiction: a slam & other experiments: Sunday 11 September 2011, 7pm – 10pm, drinks til late 

Sticky Mike’s Frog Shop, 9-12 Middle Street, Brighton BN1 1AL

An evening of short shorts, flash writing and digital technologies. At the heart of the event is a 300-word flash fiction slam competition and an online Twitter story competition, with competitors battling it out for fame and glory.

Twitter & slam winners will be announced on the night. Judging panels include our fine selves, Richard Hearn from Paragraph Planet (http://www.paragraphplanet.com) and Myriad Editions (http://www.myriadeditions.com/).
